Baby Finds I Wish I Had the First Time

You go to register for baby products and it’s so overwhelming and so dang expensive! You’re thinking, “What will I actually use? Is this necessary? What brands are best? What does this even do??” I have tried pretty much everything between my two girls, and I’ve narrowed down my top picks. These are products that have made my life so much easier, and I wish I knew about them the first time around! They were total game changers!! So, here they are:

Sophie the Giraffe- I have no idea why babies love this teething toy but they do! My friend calls it baby crack haha!! There‘s a reason its been around for over 55 years and a favorite of celebrity parents....it works!!

Boogie Wipes- I made so much fun of these before I used them. I thought, “what a stupid thing tp spend money on.” Boy was I wrong! If you’ve ever had a baby who had a cold, then you know the snot that crusts around their nosenis impossible to wipe. It’s like glue. These natural saline wipes gently wipe it away with no rubbing and it’s gentle on skin so it doesn’t cause any irritation.

Calmoseptine- This is a medicated diaper cream for those really bad diaper rashes. Diaper rash can be a huge problem in the summer or when your baby has eaten acidic foods. Using this can clear up even the worst diaper rash over night!!!

Boudreaux Butt Paste- This has been the best diaper cream!! My daughter has sensitive skin and this never irritates her like other brands. We have even used this for more than the baby! When at the beach, my 7 year old got the worse rash from her rash guard (oh the irony). We spread a thin layer under her arms and it cleared up right away. It’s water resistant so she was able to use it while she was in the water to prevent it from happening again!🙌🏻

Dr. Brown’s Bottles- These bottles are the only ones you need!! The technology they use to keep the air bubbles out do the trick! We never had gas issues using these bottles. Best bottles on the market!!!

Boogin’ Head straps- No more broken or lost sippy cups. The strap wraps around the bottle, sippy cup or toy they are using with a rubber grip. The other end wraps around their high chair or stroller. I don’t know why they didn’t think of this sooner. Genius!!!

Nose Frida- Ok, so I may have gagged the first few times I used this but I promise it works so well you won’t even care how you have to use it. One end goes in baby’s nose and the other goes in your mouth. You suck the snot out using your mouth (are you gagging right now?). I know. I know. I promise you don’t get any anywhere near your mouth and it gets all the gunk out that those little torture devices they give you in the hospital won’t get. Totally worth the gagging!!!😂

Bamboo Swaddle Blankets- Not only are these beautiful patterns, they work great for swaddling! They are nice and big so you have plenty to work with when swaddling, and they are lightweight and breathable which makes them a great choice for warmer months. We still use them as blankets because she loves how soft they are.

Mixie Baby- This is the most genius invention for those who formula feed!!! The bottom holds the formula and then you fill it with water. When you’re ready for a bottle, you just push the bottom on the button to release the formula and shake. I can’t tell you how many times my daughter needed a bottle and she needed it RIGHT NOW. I would be stuck trying to juggle a bottle of water and a container of formula trying to pour it in without spilling; all the while she’s screaming for her bottle. No thank you! Now I always keep two with me while we’re out!!!
