You know I only put my best soups in my FRIENDS mug! With cold and flu season coming up I wanted to be sure we were stocked up on some good ole fashion chicken noodle soup and I don’t mean the Campbell‘s kind.
You know if I can make my life easier and make something in the crockpot I will, so I decided to try doing my chicken noodle soup in it. Well, it was a disaster!!! You may think I‘m a good cook, but I‘ve had many failed attempts to get that way and still do! I put the noodles in too early and it was a nasty mushy mess. I had to figure out a way to put it all in one pot, though. I was determined. After some trial and error I figured it out!!! Read the recipe to find out the secret to perfectly cooked chicken noodle soup......
Ingredients
1lb chicken tenders
64 oz chicken stock (not broth)
1 pkg frozen mixed vegetables
6-8 oz mini farfalle
1 tsp celery salt
salt to taste
Put all your ingredients (except pasta) in the crockpot on low for 6 hours. Shred the chicken. Remove the crock from its holder and stir in farfalle. Let cool and store in the fridge once completely cooled. The hot liquid will cook the noodles perfectly as it’s cooling. No mushy noodles!!!🙌🏻
That’s it!! And, it freezes great for those times someone is sick or you just need something to warm you up this winter. 💕
