Let’s face it, it can be REALLY hard getting a workout in when you’re a mom. We constantly feel guilty about not working out, and then when we do, we feel like there are a hundred other things we should be doing instead. You guys, we are MOMS! And moms do cardio all the time!!! We just don’t look at it that way😊.
Tonight my 7 year old daughter and I were dancing after dinner. We turned up the volume on my workout playlist and had a blast! Even the baby enjoyed twirling around with us! We weren’t dancing because we were trying to “get our steps in”. We were dancing because we were doing something fun together as a family!!
When you’re feeling like you are past due on hitting the gym, just do what moms do best.... Have fun with your kids!!! Play some basketball, ride bikes or play a game of chase (especially for those with toddlers😉). You‘re getting some serious cardio in and making some awesome memories at the same time! Plus everyone sleeps well at night. That’s what I call a win win! 🙌🏻
