It’s almost time to pack up the swimsuits and sandals and pull out the boots and sweaters! If you’re a little unsure what new pieces to buy or keep from your fall wardrobe this is the article for you! I’m sharing my favorite trends for this fall (some new and some old).
Orange is the New Black
I can hear you saying it now, “Orange isn’t my color.” Don’t worry! Although rust is a big color this year, it’s not the only orange out there! Find the shade that works for you. You can choose from bright tangerine to more of a burnt orange. This color gives such a warm feeling to cold days and instantly brightens your face.
Olive
This is a fall color that never goes away. Whether camo and a utility dress is your thing or a classic babydoll with booties; snag at least one olive piece to wear for years to come. One of my favorite olive tops I’ve had for 10 years!! Seriously. Oh and you have to top it off with your favorite hat....of course.
Denim Jacket & Staple Tee
If you don’t already own a denim jacket this needs to be at the top of your priority list! Besides the fact that a denim jacket has never gone out of style since 1880 when Levi Strauss created the first one its also the most functional piece you’ll ever own. It’s perfect for cool mornings and hot afternoons because it’s an easy layering piece. Pair it with some moto leggings and a statement tee like this and you have yourself the perfect ensemble. You can style it with sneakers or booties for a more casual look.
THE STAPLE PIECE UPS ITS GAME
You know I love a few good staples in my closet to mix and match. They are the perfect chameleon taking on the look of their accessory pairings. If you’re tired of the basic tee though and are craving more design elements in your wardrobe then this is your year! So many staple pieces like this long sleeve tee are upping their game by adding details like these lace sleeves; changing ordinary into extraordinary.
NATURAL ELEMENTS
No I’m not talking about hippies and earth, wind and fire. I’m talking about wearing earth‘s beauty in elegant ways. Anything from the earth like feathers (like these gold dipped feather earrings), stones and even animal prints you will see this year. Pieces like this stone necklace and snakeskin heels give this classic work outfit an edge.
INDUSTRIAL MEETS FEMININE
I saved my favorite trend for last! There are so many pieces this year that is walking art and I’m in love. I love stark contrasts in art especially those that have an industrial feel with a feminine touch like this utility jacket adorned with lace detail. You will see florals with metals and leather with lace. These opposites compliment each other in a way no other elements can and that’s why it’s my favorite. Look for me to wear this trend ALL year long!
Ciao!!💕
