Keeneland Cookies

💙In Kentucky we are known for our HORSES and our BOURBON!! That’s why I decided to make these Keeneland cookies for the October meet!! 🐎 🥃 (P.S. Can anyone guess why I kept this 2007 betting ticket??😉)⠀

I used the traditional @nestletollhouse chocolqte chip cookie recipe (which is the best recipe!) and added in some bourbon, bacon and caramel!! 🥃 🥓 🍫 ⠀

Traditional Recipe:⠀

2 1/4 c flour⠀

1 tsp baking soda ⠀

1 tsp salt⠀

1 c butter⠀

3/4 c sugar⠀

3/4 c brown sugar⠀

1 tsp vanilla⠀

2 eggs⠀

2 c Nestle Tollhouse semi-sweet morsels ⠀

Add in: ⠀

6-8 pieces crumbled crispy bacon⠀

2 T bacon fat rendered from cooking⠀

1 T bourbon (more if you like a stronger flavor)⠀

1 c Nestle Tollhouse Sea Salt Carmel morsels⠀

Combine wet ingredients and dry ingredients in separate bowls. Pour dry ingredients into wet ingredients and mix. Add your add-ins. Place spoonfuls on parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Bake 9-11 min at 375. ⠀
