Keeneland Cookies

šŸ’™In Kentucky we are known for our HORSES and our BOURBON!! Thatā€™s why I decided to make these Keeneland cookies for the October meet!! šŸŽ šŸ„ƒ (P.S. Can anyone guess why I kept this 2007 betting ticket??šŸ˜‰)ā €

I used the traditional @nestletollhouse chocolqte chip cookie recipe (which is the best recipe!) and added in some bourbon, bacon and caramel!! šŸ„ƒ šŸ„“ šŸ« ā €

Traditional Recipe:ā €

2 1/4 c flourā €

1 tsp baking soda ā €

1 tsp saltā €

1 c butterā €

3/4 c sugarā €

3/4 c brown sugarā €

1 tsp vanillaā €

2 eggsā €

2 c Nestle Tollhouse semi-sweet morsels ā €

Add in: ā €

6-8 pieces crumbled crispy baconā €

2 T bacon fat rendered from cookingā €

1 T bourbon (more if you like a stronger flavor)ā €

1 c Nestle Tollhouse Sea Salt Carmel morselsā €

Combine wet ingredients and dry ingredients in separate bowls. Pour dry ingredients into wet ingredients and mix. Add your add-ins. Place spoonfuls on parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Bake 9-11 min at 375. ā €

Enjoy and good luck at the races!!!! šŸŽ ā €
