Live Life- Lessons from an 8 Year Old

How often am I taught a valuable life lesson from my own kids? Well....pretty much all the time!😂 As I was watching my 8 year old dancing like no one was watching; dancing in her own way, I was reminded that we as adults never do that! We are constantly worried about appearances and what others will think of us. I also think we have so many pressures and so many worries that we tend to forget how to live. We get caught up in day to day living....just surviving.

One of my husband’s favorite quotes is from The Shawshank Redemption: “Get busy living or get busy dying.” There is so much truth in those few words!! Let’s learn from our kids and start living! 💃 💕
