I love this recipe because you literally throw everything into a slow cooker! It’s great for busy weeks and late nights! This also makes a ton so I usually portion half to freeze!! Double the meals; half the work!🙌🏻
Ingredients
1lb ground turkey
1 1/2 c quinoa
15 oz can black beans
15 oz can diced tomatoes
1 pkg frozen pepper onion mix
1 c frozen corn
1/2 c taco sauce
1 c salsa
1 c water
1 T chili powder
1 tsp cumin
1 T minced garlic
Shredded cheddar and fresh cilantro for garnish.
Brown your turkey. Throw turkey and all ingredients into a slow cooker. Cook on low 6 hours. Top with cheddar and cilantro.
How easy is that?!?😄🙌🏻
*You can use fresh ingredients for this instead of frozen but I make this in the winter a lot so I usually use frozen.*
