Tired of Ordinary Pizzas?

Sometimes it feels like all we eat is pepperoni or cheese pizza. It’s quick, easy and the kids like it. What if you could get out of your pizza rut and STILL give the kids something they want!?! My family is obsessed with pizza too, so I’ve come up with some creative ways to keep it more interesting. I will share with you some of our favorite “pizzas”:

Eggs Benedict Brunch Pizza

Thai Pizza

Pesto Pizza

Cheeseburger Pizza (combining 2 American favorite dinners)

*For all of these use any pizza crust mix. I use $0.50 Kroger pizza crust mix.*

Eggs Benedict Brunch Pizza

I got this idea from a friend who had something similar at a restaurant. I thought “what a great idea”! Who doesn’t love eggs Benedict?!

Toppings

2-3 hard cooked eggs sliced

1/4lb ham (I use smoked)

1/2 c mozarella cheese

1/2 c gruyere cheese

1/4 c hollandaise sauce

Smoked paprika to taste

Sliced tomato (optional)

Make your dough according to directions and let rise while preparing your toppings.

Spread your hollandaise sauce on your crust. Top with ham, tomato (if using them), eggs and then cheese. Bake 475 for 10-15 minutes.

Sprinkle with paprika and drizzle leftover hollandaise sauce on top.

Thai Pizza

This is a recipe I posted earlier in my Family’s Favorites series.

Toppings

3-4 chicken tenders

1 bag frozen broccoli

1 c mozzarella

1/2 - 1 c hoisin sauce depending how much sauce you like

crushed peanuts

sriracha (optional)

Cook your broccoli according to the directions on the bag. You may not use the whole bag.*

Boil and shred chicken. Mix chicken, broccoli and hoisin together.

Top pizza crust with mixture followed by crushed peanuts and then mozzarella. Bake same as above.

Drizzle sriracha on top.

*Start by using a little broccoli on your pizza. Each time you make it you can add a little more. This is how I tricked Audrey into actually liking broccoli on her pizza. 😉

Pesto Pizza

This is Audrey’s favorite pizza!! Feel free to make your own pesto but to make this easier you can also just buy it.

Toppings

1 jar of pesto

1 c Italian shredded cheese

Top your rolled out crust with pesto and then the Italian cheese. Bake the same as above. Seriously, that’s it!!!🙌🏻

Serve with French bread and dipping oil.

Cheeseburger Pizza

My family asks for this all the time! It’s simple, filling and just a great American style pizza!

Toppings

3/4- 1lb ground beef

1/2c pizza sauce

mustard

pickles (use sandwich or round slices)

1c cheddar cheese (I prefer medium or sharp)

1c mozzarella cheese

1/2tsp caraway seed (optional)

diced tomato (optional) *be sure to use a meaty tomato like Roma for this or it will make your crust soggy*

Brown your beef and set aside. If using the caraway seed, you can add it to your beef. Top your crust with pizza sauce and drizzle with mustard. Then layer ground beef, tomatoes (if using them), pickles and the cheeses. Bake same as above.

Change up your ordinary pizza night!! Bon Apetit!💕
